Wireless Roaming

Apollo supports wireless roaming! Wireless roaming allows you to deploy multiple Apollo access points in a region where a group of mobile nodes will move around. The roaming Apollo access points will automatically connect to the stationary Apollo access point with the strongest signal.

Security Is Number One

Apollo has multiple built-in security features. The transmission method is based on a prorietary protocol, and features pseudo-noise codes and over-the-air encryption. That keeps your data secure and puts your mind at ease.

Industrial Strength Wireless Data

Reliability never takes a back seat. Apollo is built to industrial specifications. That creates a rock solid platform for your most important data. Plus it means lower receiver sensitivity figures, and in turn, a much better transmission range.

"Burst Sync" Capable

Apollo's burst sync feature ensures that your access point will play well with others. Burst sync allows you to "daisy chain" up to 24 Apollos at one location, without receiving interference from the others.

Voice Packet Prioritization

Apollo is Voice-over-IP friendly! Apollo was built to ensure that your voice packets across your link with crystal clarity, no matter what kinds of other data your transmitting or receiving.

Antenna Alignment Tools

Apollo makes it easy to setup your wireless link, by providing you with a built-in antenna alignment tool. Its accessed directly through Apollo's software interface, or you can opt for the audio attachment to align your antennas using an audible tone.

Low Power Consumption

Apollo doesn't guzzle power like a lot of 2.4 GHz radios in its class. Instead, it was designed to consume little more than 5 watts of power. That means Apollo feels right at home when connected to solar power or anywhere high voltage isn't available, making remote installations a breeze.
