Wireless Interactive - Orion 400, 400 MHz Access Point
Orion 400. 400 MHz. Ultra long range.

Low 400 MHz Frequency Range

We designed the Orion 400 to be an ultra long range radio. Operating between 460 MHz & 500 MHz, the Orion 400 says goodbye to crowded Wi-Fi channels, and hello to wireless freedom.

22 Mbps Effective Throughput

Orion gets a lot of attention for a reason. That reason is performance. The Orion 400 performs at 400 MHz and can offer a realistic throughput of 22 Mbps (54 Mbps-rated). With speeds like that, Orion should be at the top of your list when looking for a new point-to-point or point-to-multipoint solution.

OFDM Technology

Orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing. Yes, we know its a long name, and that's why the acronym was created. Basically, OFDM technology enables Orion to use the 400 MHz spectrum efficiently. Plus it also offers resistance against multi-path interference and allows noise to be filtered out easier.

Wireless Distribution System

Wireless Distribution System (WDS) is really just a way of interconnecting access points to one another, wirelessly. Orion can be a main base station, a relay station, or a remote access point. Typically, the main base station is connected via Ethernet. Then, the relay stations push data between remote base stations, wireless clients, or other relay stations until it gets to its destination on the wireless network. So, unlike traditional bridging, Orion is able to bridge and accept wireless clients at the same time.

Atheros Chipset-Enabled

Orion uses the industry standard, high quality chipsets developed by Atheros. These chipsets feature breakthrough technologies to extend the range and reduce the power consumption of wireless networks. Add the proven service and support offered by Wireless Interactive and you've got one bulletproof radio.
